I’m a novice gardener in Perth, Western Australia and having a lot of difficulty growing coriander. Nobody I have spoken to has ever been able to do it here –
any tips?

Dear Virginia:
Plant viable seed in a soilless mix, peat moss with vermiculite or perlite, in a 50-50 combination. Keep the seed moist, not overly wet. Plant the seed 1 x as deep as the seed is thick. In other words, not very deep. The seasons in Australia are quite different than America, but a spring-summer would be your best times for this delightful herb.
Good luck and my best,
Stan, Mr. GT
