Fall gardening with the right pH…

0

We all think of leaves changing color and in different parts of the country this occurs at slightly different times.  In the deep south planting cool season veggies such as broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, and cabbage all grow well during the cooler season.   Even if you have never gardened before you might want to get your soil pH tested, especially if you have that favorite plant that isn’t looking so hot anymore.  You can have your soil tested by yours truly if you live in the Tampa Bay area and decide to come out to the St. Pete Times Home show that I will be a guest speaker at on November 12-14 at Tropicana field.   If this isn’t conducive for you to attend you can always have your soil tested by me or my staff  by sending me your soil by mail for a small nominal fee of $4.95.   Please be sure to make the check out to Stan DeFreitas, make sure you only send one ounce of soil and you will receive a complete report.  Also be sure to include the plants that the soil is growing in.   HAPPY GARDENING.
