If your growing a garden you probably have come across a pesky stink bug.  They are usually are no bigger than a quarter to one half inch in size.  They are sometimes are hard to detect because they are usually green, brown or even grayish.  You may first notice stippling on your favorite vegetables and fruits this is dead ringer that you may have stink bugs.  They seem to love tomatoes more so and this is because it has a soft skin.  You should consider treating with a pesticide that specifically mention stink bugs on the label, make sure that it also lists your fruit or vegetable as appropriate for use.  If you happen to stomp on one, you will surely find out why they are called stink bugs, and this is because they give off malodorous liquid which is its main defense mechanism.
